i have the new android installed since like 1 week, the batterylife is miles better, before i ended my day with around 40 to 50 percent, now it'll be on 65-75% easily. (i do have battery saving enabled tho)

Hi, I've been a user of find x3 pro since android 11 / coloros11. I'm very grateful for being able to upgrade it to colorOS 13 in my region. ColorOS 13 makes a lot of difference, absolutely the best ColorOS experience, just some ignorable minor bug.

Nice review. I had this phone when it came out but had to sell due to some financial issues. I enjoyed it much and am thinking of getting it. I have a budget of £300 -£400 and sometimes I think getting an older flagship is better than getting a new midrange. I'm just worried about the security and android updates. Do you think I could get another 18 months out of this phone ?

I have the non pro model. My only issue is that I can't get lunchers to lunch because it's the Asian version. What version do u have? Can you make a video. And just run nova luncher for me to see. The app running. In my phone it does not allow me to select the installed luncher. Just the system luncher is available. Can u help me out? Or know anyone who can?

I've had the x3 pro since April 2021 from new. I've had to get the battery replaced whilst it's still in warranty. The company who are fixing it on behalf of Oppo (SBE) have had the phone since Jan 16th and its still not fixed on 27th Feb! So yes, check the battery on the product or get it replaced before hand.

@jamiesplinter8758 65w charging I guess. I was working night shifts at the time so it never did the optimised charging as it never knew when I would waking up. That's my guessing anyway.

Im at the 18 months point now with this model (Find x3 pro) and for a good few months, there's almost never one time I needed to use a powerbank continuously because the drain is SO BAD (I usually end up with 30 to 40% battery after a 2hours trip home from work, with around... 45 mins of active use) Oh, and this intensifies even further when trying to record footage in a concert. The drain becomes so intense that you can literally get scalded if you're holding the phone without a case. Even after 20+ minutes of cooling it without the case in your pocket, what's more shocking is that the footage that comes out can either 1. Get it's audio cut mid point 2. Have the video replaced by a lovely green screen 3. Have the video totally freezing 4. Usually it's a both Sadly, the above issues will only show when you see it in the album . ( You won't even know your 'video' is affected during recording , sometimes. )

Hi Ryan, can you please advice me which phone is better to buy x3 pro refurbished, grade A for £400 or x5 new £450? I'm not demanding user, what I'm interested is which phone has better sound and battery. At the moment I'm using Huawei p20 pro for over 3 years and for me is a brilliant phone. Just picked one up for £230 in almost perfect condition. Got a carbon fiber oppo case for it for £21. Very happy not found a problem and is by far the most powerful phone I've owned. The camera is fantastic. The image stabilization is amazing. Last phone was a s10plus. Battery is at 93% never opened or dropped. Very happy.

Side note. One slippery SOB with out a case. Like shit this thing moves on a 0.02% incline on anything clothing material. It may look still but look back in 3 minute's it's slipped off. That's gorilla glass 5 front and back. The carbon fiber case slows the heart beat for sure.

If you are okay with heating issues of Snapdragon 888 then go for it. It will cost less and will also have the microscope camera.

How's the camera compared to s21 ultra?

I have no issues with the camera it works fine. The only thing I have and issue is that I have the Asian version so I can't get lunchers to lunch. But every thing else is top notch.

It just lacks the periscope lens, but it has Microscope lens which is exclusive to this phone and some Realme phones and Oppo's f21 series. So you won't feel that bad. Otherwise the cameras are neck-a-neck to S21 ultra and can also take 10-bit photos and store and show the file in 10-bit glory.

@@comedyman112 Yeah Xiaomi's image processing is like that. It's not washed out but very pale. You will need to use the pro color in their camera app to pop-up the color and saturations(in y experience that's not good either). Whereas Samsung pops-up the color a bit and make it eye pleasing. Till now I've experienced only 4 brands who does a damn good job with the cameras, i.e, Oppo(not it's sub-brands though), Samsung, Vivo and Apple. They have the best image processing. I would've added Pixel too but they have some issues with skin tone, especially with the brown skin tone.

bhahaha that's so dumb. This is the worst phone oppo ever made. overheating issues, incredibly laggy, and super short battery life. s23 ultra is perfect in every regard.
