Love the fact that you mentioned the camera on the Find X5 Pro is almost a cross between the iPhone 13 Pro and Pixel 6. It really is an “in between” experience, despite being an Android. Imho, I think it falls short in the front facing camera and zoom department predominantly. Aside from the camera though, I feel like the Find X5 Pro is a legitimate candidate for one of, if not, the best overall phones of 2022. Oppo is supposedly going to utilize the MT Dimensity 9000 chip as another option for the Find X5 Pro. The Dimensity 9000 is the only chip that comes close to the A15 Bionic in benchmarks and tests, basically smoking the SD8Gen1 in every way except GPU (they’re competitive in that regard). I think if Oppo polishes up ColorOS (which isn’t that bad as is) and includes AT LEAST 4-5 years of security/software updates, they could really start competing with Samsung and Apple.

Not available in North America. Oppo is good at software updates. My Oppo Find X2 Pro has been some of the first phones to get the latest Android Software updates.

From the Find X5 Pro most likely if you’re not expecting top tier performance. But cameras are gonna be a nice upgrade for sure. Especially with all the AI stuff they’re doing.

A real beast of photography. I love the Xpan mode. I own a OnePlus 9. Also with Xpan mode. Great photos and I love it is on the Oppo find X5 Pro. Maybe my next phone is the Oppo. My focus is only on the Chinese phones. The Oppo find X5 Pro, or the OnePlus 10 Pro, Realme GT 12 Pro or the XIAOMI 12 Pro. All these phones are great in its own way.

@@kabangaleri8040 I thought the same. The imaging chip is nowhere near as powerful or useful as it claims to be on the x5p. The pixels imaging system is on a different level. Much better detail, less fake sharpening and a whole lot more realistic colours.

Overall good phone but finding it nothing special. Color os has some weird quirks, battery is still meh, camera good but nothing we haven't seen before

The battery has beaten out the S22U in battery tests and along with One+ offers 15%+ better than Samsung, so “meh” is wrong. The cameras are very good and not sure what else OEMs can do? ColorOS is subjective but seems just as good as OneUI for me. It’s battery tech is years ahead of Samsung, it offers double the lifetime (1600 cycles -v- 800 for Samsung to 80% capacity). It actually has fast charging, three times quicker than Samsung. It offers four years -v- Samsung five which is close enough and it is £200 cheaper for the 256GB model in the UL compared to the S22U (same price as S22+). Def the best non-spen device of the year so far.
