X7 Ultra has better cameras for sure, And X7 Ultra looks better for me, But...I still would pick the X8 Pro, because of the battery, which is much bigger. If X7 Ultra had 6000mAh battery, then I definitely would pick it.

Ultra had the better cameras than x8 pro both in front and behind. Only an extra Zoom doesn't mean everything. Better wait for the x8 ultra. That may overcome the shortcomings of x8 pro

I think the Oppo has more impressive cameras (especially with zoom) but I haven’t tried the new Honor yet so can’t say for sure

It's not supposed to be an upgrade on the x7 ultra. The x8 pro is a pro model not an ultra so it has a cheaper launch price than the x7 ultra had. The x8 ultra which will come next year will be the upgrade over the x7 ultra.
