I feel the oppo reno 8 pro is an underrated phone. Those who are iphone users are mostly biased because of its camera performance. However, when it comes to flexibility, functionality and multitasking, oppo or even other android phones have an edge on this. I know some people are after the quality of the camera and gaming performance when buying a phone. But for some people, they are after the utility or something that have practical use for their daily tasks or work. That's why having multitasking features such as split screens, back option, opening separate windows, accepting multiple calls and even screencasting directly on smart tv (without using an app) are very practical and important functions that iphones do not have considering its price.

i m using the Oppo Reno 8 Pro - Mediatek 8100 max and 12GB ram + You can set it up + 5gb from memory virtual ram ( so total of 17GB ). Mid range phone but it punch a lot of features and oen of the best key feature is fast charger of 80W. Photo wise, is subjective. Its decent and i use the potrait quite often, its v shutter speed. Also, just to add on - the charging seems v cool/ not as warm to my samsung phone S20+. So try it out if u like the look of the phone :)

The iPhone clearly has better video, but the Oppo is almost as good in every other respect. You do of course miss out on adaptive refresh rate and no wireless charging. I do like the look of the Oppo which is clearly a rip off of both the iPhone and the Galaxy S21 with a flat screen. Lighter and narrower than the iPhone which is definitely a bonus. The iPhone is way too big and heavy.

Find X2 pro is still in the top class and above reno 8 pro. It has far better Ultrawide and also has the periscope zoom. Its just that the sensors of Reno 8 pro are better but still Find X2 pro steals the game

But considering a $500-600 phone competing with iPhone and actually beating it in some of the places is just a next level in itself. In this price range there are only a few phones and only Iqoo 9pro matches Reno 8 pro's standards in photography and night videos, so considering the price range Oppo bests iphone in most of the places.

I feel the Oppo because it takes more raw like photos. Which is what I prefer. Iphone photos are good but are too much of a hand holder in a sense. Which is the one issue you see with the major guys Google, Samsung and Apple. I love comptittion and this is good. Good enough to make want one for myself.
