Incredible! Would be great to see a video on building a bankroll through cash games or more detail into your cash game stats during this challenge.

Thanks for the final report on the ROI from the different formats. What next? I know they are not your favourite, but it is hard to deny the ROI you achieved with MTTs and how they create a compelling narrative for the stream. Perhaps you can find an edge by really understanding PKOs? Clearly, this is not a solved format by the population. There is a lot of learning potential there, which I recall you mentioning on stream you find a plus. Plus the narrative of a MTT for streaming as I mentioned. Haven't seen you streaming for awhile, James. Hope you get back to it soon regardless of the format!

thats before rake, was actually around 9...you can see they made 12k, but -7200 in rake, so $4800 profit

Great challange, especially considering u've crushed every format out there. That says alot about your poker abilities.

Really trying to build bankroll. Bust it earlier by playing over my limits and sucked out by a gut shot on the river and a back door flush then went uo against aces twice in a row.

Hey man, very well done. Do you know how many hours you put in total? Or even an estimate on average hours per day or month? Gl going forward, been good following
@OPPoker4 жыл бұрын
I didnt track that unfortunately. Also a lot of it was 1 tabling on stream so it wouldve been a pretty bad hourly 😅

Big congratz mate! If I am not wrong you paid around 52.000$ rake to make 30.000$ profit. Can you share what rakeback you got in percentage? I think what rake you pay to network is not important as what rakeback you are getting. For such rake you have to get at least 40-50% back.
@OPPoker4 жыл бұрын
Total rake was $29,652 (7,206 in cashgame and 22,446 in tournaments) Total profit excluding any rakeback $42,000. I think overall my rakback was very small less than 5% in total but none of that is shown in profit graphs. -James

Fuck stars, that's awful
@cihaneren48424 жыл бұрын
@@bendover4773 Yeah thats crazy. James is good, improved a lot on the way and dedicated. I think thats only 1% of total player pool. And he have to pay "x" amount of rake to make same "x" amount of profit after long years of grind. Think about rest of the player poll. Probably average player is loosing money at the end due to no rakeback policy in stars.
@cihaneren48424 жыл бұрын
@@bendover4773 Its really crazy.. For last 29 months.. 1.000$ rake from a player and average 50$ rakeback each month. I dont think most of us paying such money on any kind of service in our life :) Maybe only our rent or mortagage can compete with that.. sick..
@cihaneren48424 жыл бұрын
@@bendover4773 Yet we are telling every year that poker become more and more harder. Its true that players are developing but also every year new players are adding up to poll. I think major difference between today and 10 years ago is the rakeback policies changed drastically. Game is same game.. Before you need to beat other players. Now you need to beat the rake. From James example he made 30k$ profit. If that was 10 years ago he will make 50k$ with rakebacks.

wouldnt suggest anyone starting with spin and goes most people will not be able to take the swings i wouldnt play any sng format that you have less then 8-10% ROI in. Until you are very advanced and even then you dont have to you can still grind 6max sngs and make a decent living.

You won $8.68 from 878 hands of $0.01/$0.02. If you extrapolate that out over 50k hands you would have won about $495 total. Compared to the 30k you won from playing anything but penny games. But the rake is respectable at PokerStars? tell me more. hahahah
