I cannot find my degree on the list, what next for me?

My university has H+ status and my degree which is Bachelor (Honours) of commerce has "Entspricht" status in the Anabin, But my university is not listed under degree awarding institutes on degree popup and similarly the university doesn't have my degree listed. (My degree and my university are mentioned in the Anabin but both are not in the same page) So I would like to know my degree is recognised or not. I kindly request you to clear my doubt as soon as possible Thank you

Went to the German embassy in Lagos 2 days ago and they told me it is not yet out.

Yes. I don't know why it has not started yet in Nigeria even though it has started in other countries

But how about vocational training? You talked about Degree and university but how about Certification from a vocational training like in the field of IT? Do we still need to get these recognized?

Vocational training (has to be a minimum 2year long training) only have to be recognized in the country where you got the certification from.

@@Naijagirlingermany I also wonder how they will know if a certificate is State Recognized. Because someone who completed let say for example, as a Mechanic, a Carpenter or even IT training from a Private school are all issued a Certificate. How can the German embassy know this certification is state Recognized? I know you don't have answers for my queries....but I just wonder how that will work.

I am writing this to clarify my doubts regarding recognition. My university has H+ status and my degree also has "Entspricht " status in the Anabin website. Or Should the degree and the university be listed together in the same page although they have H+ and Entspricht status? I kindly request you to clear my doubt. Thank you.

I read that even if your course isn’t fully recognized in Germany, you can still get points for it. This part most people don’t talk about. Nice job 👍 I actually came here to see if you had an answer to why the German embassy in Nigeria hasn’t opened their portal. I’m surprised and livid that it’s open in Ghana but not in Nigeria.

Exactly. You get points even if your certificate is not fully recognized. I talked about that in the first Video. The German embassy in Nigeria ehn, I honestly have no words for those guys.

I am already in Europe (Malta) and have a resident card for 1 year. Can I apply for chancenkarte by visiting in Germany and how?

You should be able to apply from malta since that is where you have your residence permit. You can apply through the German embassy in malta.

You need German A1 or English B2.

Teaching is a regulated profession in Germany and typically you will need German. Except you are look to teach in a private establishment and in a feild not requiring German. So technically, this is possible but like I said, think about it and count the cost.
