She has a high level of integrity and there's something about her that just cares. I hope she never loses that ability to connect & care. I do hope she has learned to discern with whom to invest her attention, money & time. I've learned that's the thing The Universe wants us to sharpen: our ability to discern. Especially in matters of the heart, finances, safety & building friendships with the right people. Anyway, meeting Oprah was one of the best days of my life. I didn't need a hand out (thankfully) but I did get to hold her hand for some time. I love my Lady O.

K Butler Calvin ambushed Oprah with a team of reporter's from the Enquirer and that is why she was so dismissive, and possibly annoyed by his actions!!! My heart goes out to Calvin, because Oprah begged him to stay in school while his family wanted him to come home. I wish his family would have seen that Oprah paying for Calvin's education was an opportunity of a lifetime!!! I know he regrets not finishing school on her dime, but there is no going back!!!

+Dominic Brogsdale What does a private school education guarantee? Absolutely nothing. It doesn't guarantee you specific job training nor does it guarantee you ANY job once you graduate. People send their kids to private school for bragging rights and to keep them away from a certain demographic. NOT because it guarantees that their child will make lots of money once they get out. Furthermore, truck drivers make more money than a lot of folks who walkin around with a $80,000 degree and no job! How is he a failure?? If he wanted, he could save up, buy his own trucks and run his own trucking company.

Gifts and generosity should not make the giver angry or disillusioned when the outcome does not meet the expected outcome. When someone gives, it should be given freely. Otherwise your gift becomes more about you ...
