Personally, I wouldn't want to jeopardize my health by injecting insulin medication when I don't even have diabetes. But if that's the route people want to take, to each their own.

Ozempic is NOT insulin or substitute for insulin ! Ozempic stimulates the pancreas to release insulin when glucose is present. Imagine how dangerous this drug is to those who do NOT have Type 2 diabetes and using it as a “diet pill”. In few yrs., we will see an increase in pancreatic cancer ‼️

I wonder if Ozempra will tell us when her intestines are in knots 🪢 and in pain, or when she develops pancreatic cancer ? NO, she’ll blame it on her DOCTOR !🙄

She will again, because it is a quick fix or she will have to spend the rest of her life taking mediction. I wondered what she did with all the fat she lost like the last time she paraded it on her show.

She gained it all back because she lost the weight by diet and exercise. She can continue to take Ozempic for as long as she wants so she doesn’t have to worry about gaining it back. Oprah’s not going to go broke over this!

I didn't think Oprah was being transparent in the least. At first she was pushing weight watchers until she was probably going to be exposed for taking Ozempic. I'm not a fan of hers to begin with but I really get angry with anyone using this drug when it's a life saving medication for diabetics. Some people in the States without insurance could use Ozempic instead of the very vain and wealthy for appearances. Just wrong imo.

@kimstevens7757 Well said! It’s the DOCTORS that should be blamed for so freely prescribing this type 2 diabetes drug to his fat ‘customers’ !! These unethical doctors will do anything to line their pockets with money and Ozempra as well 💰‼️

You would be more enraged if you had to walk into a assisted living facility and see all the people whose limbs have been amputated because of diabetes. Oprah is rich enough to lose weight the traditional way, she was just fat and lazy. She had no problem adding to the shortage of a life saving drug.

The reason why a lot of ppl are upset is because she recently said she would never do the drug cause it would feel like she's cheating. Also, there's a critical shortage of the drug for diabetecs whose lives depend on it. Now, there will be a great shortage as ppl who don't have diabetes will want it so they too can lose weight.

While I would love a world where we don't talk about each other's bodies, I do think it's important for celebrities to own what they are doing. Many of these drugs are things that are expensive and will require years of continuous meds to keep the weight at bay. Most of the population cannot afford to pay for these drugs for years, or decades. The honesty is important.

TBF about Star Jones, she did say she had a "medical intervention" and that pilates helped maintain her weight loss. She'd be the first to admit that she should have copped to having gastric bypass surgery from go, but it's not like she pretended that exercise alone caused her weight loss.

Its because she was the Weigh Watchers spokes person for so long. It looks like that program is a shame now. But personally I could care less as long as she is happy with herself.

I am very happy for Oprah she's been trying to lose weight all her life. I am just sad that as a diabetic I am not able to get my ozempic because of shortage.

@baublesanddolls5756 before you write bullshit get your facts there was no Ozempic available in December. My Dr. had to prescribe a new injection. This injection was everyday instead of once a week. Do like I said swallow your bullshit and in the future get the facts.

I wish Oprah. didn't have to respond but I see how her transparency can help others. I thought more of us were about body positivity but I guess I am wrong. I'm happy she seems happy and healthy.

The interesting thing is that in an interview, she said she lost weight the old-fashioned way since the medication was an easy way out... but she might have her reasons

I’m shocked how this Ozempra topic was handled. None of them did any research on this Type 2 diabetes drug. It was ALL about weight loss and Oprah’s so called ‘transparency” ! I’m sure Melissa Grelo or Jessica Allen would not do Ozempic, but they sure were having fun discussing it! As for the m0uthy Andrea Bain 🗣🗣…..enough said !

What’s wrong with taking medication to lose weight. I wish I could get my hands on it. So what! Oprah has struggled with her weight her entire life. Everyone hates being fat, I don’t care who you are. Sharon Osborne and her daughter, on the other hand, have gone way overboard with it and loook dead!! Pretty sad when Ozzy looks like the healthy one! What drives me nuts is the ones using Ozempic but doing commercials for weight loss gummies when you know damn well what they’re doing. I don’t believe there’s a shortage of the drug because the pharmaceutical companies are loving this. The more they make, the more they sell, and the more expensive it gets.

Just to clarify, Ozempic is NOT insulin. Yes, it is used as a treatment for diabetes, and should be used with extreme caution, but it’s not insulin.

Catherine Scott Exactly ! I’m surprised the panel didn’t do more research on Ozempic. No, it was all about Ozempra’s weight loss and her “transparency”, such BS !
