Did mine the same way you did including the reverse. Just a diferent brand was all and hooked it all into the master wire set that are under my door sill on the drivers side. Your video actually inspired me to mine. So thanks bud.

How can you wire so the yellow light only comes on when doors open and turn signal. I’d like it to not be on when driving.

tap into the grey wire with purple strip under passenger door kick panel, peel the tape off the wires and tap your power wire from the lights into the grey and purple wire and they will only come on when you open the door.

I've had mine for 2yrs sitting in the box. I keep forgetting about them and then I just recovered from neck surgery. Guess this next check I'll be having them installed

I would get them on it’s worth it. I have had them on since 2019 now and I put many miles on my truck winter In Wisconsin and summers of Texas. They seem to be holding up very well still. Good luck and have fun.

I tapped mine into the reverse lights in my tail lights. No go on the light bar. Reverse lights on the truck and tailgate bar work. Any thoughts?

I think you have the lights going in the wrong direction for the turn signals! The should light up at the front and move towards the rear when blinking! Just my opinion! 🙂

I have some left over strips from my motorcycle. Wanting to put some on my truck like yours. I want them to be running lights and not to have a toggle switch. My LED strips are regular with pos and Neg wire. Just wondering how I go about wiring it. Only want them on when I start up the vehicle. I’ll probably have a fuse going to them. But did you just wired them to the break lights? Thank you much 2018 Silverado

I'm assuming you wired all the wires into your tail light assembly. looking to do exactly what you did so I have running board lights while in reverse.

Very "COOL" I just spent some hours taking my grill out and headlights, one at a time. So, I can tap into the signal lights. They're all done, before dark. Now, Ground is grounded, Yellow is hooked up to each on their own side. [If I hook power from battery works but always power, signals work great sequence running very cool.] Says in the directions, hook power red to Parking Light?? I assume it's tapping into the center headlight? Any have an answer? I really don't know which wire to splice into. My truck is the 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi (And I don't have an underhood light, to splice into for that white wire, and or under the dash at mats location. Any smarties out there? Thanks in advance. I'm not sure about the fronts I just made it easy and ran three wires to the back to the trailer connection area made the turn, reverse, running so much easier. Good luck

@@chrisdwarmbold1385 Thanks for the reply. Yeah there are three wires on the front signal black/ blue and white / brown and white. I spliced into blue and white, worked, but ran power red off the light bar, to the battery worked but stayed on. Since I now know how to get into the front lights, it will be a snap. [I already did the back bar last week.] Didn't bother making a video, just wanted it done, not for others, but myself. Care Buddy...

Iskren, Sorry to hear tape is not holding up well. I lived and had these installed on my truck in Texas for awhile now and no issues yet. I know prep is a big deal with the 3m tape. I have had to take the tape of my tailgate lights and put new stuff on. But so far mine are holding up well. Thanks and good luck I hope this helped. Chris

Update it has now been over two years going on three and still have no issues with the adhesive or electrical. So if they go bad at any point after this I still got my money worth. Sorry again that you have not had the best luck.

I ran the negative wire to my rear tail light and then the positive wire to my runner light bulb on my rear tail light both sides are flickering any help?

Try it with the vehicle running if you did not already, low voltage causes that sometimes and when the vehicle is off they will flicker. Hope this helps good luck

@@chrisdwarmbold1385 It was the other way around when the vehicle key was in the run position everything was fine with my wireing ,when I started the vehicle they went crazy flickering. Do you know what I need to run these relay? Line fuse ? . it was Amber LED runner strips for the side steps. I did it on my 06 ram no issues .

You can try another power source temporarily to see if it still happens or You can try these I have used them before in another project. I see your point as the Turn/brake light wire are the same. They do but it’s not a big deal for me the benefits outweigh that minor glitch. Daytime you can’t even notice it and at night they are on anyhow with running lights on

No only one each side, looks Like two because of the step center bracket. They may sell them in different lengths not sure. But my setup is one each side.

What year is your truck? I installed these on my 2019 and they work great when trucks not running. Once trucks running they go crazy n the marker lights go off n don't work on the strip n the turn signals on the strip also hyper flash . What can I do to make these work?? Thanks

I have a 2015. Led lights on new new trucks can be finicky. You can try installing these two ways hard wired in like I did to the rear lights or use the 4 blade on your trailer wire connection. Sometimes when hard wired the truck can sense that there is a voltage draw out of the normal and will cause hyper flashing with LEDs. I know it may be a pain but try to write I to the trailer 4 blade if nothing else for testing. You may contact the company as well could possible have a bad set.
