I am wondering what you are planning to do with your Ironhide's broken hand? Are you going to use super glue? I am asking because one plastic came off from my Ratchet's back of the left leg. It doesn't hurt to display him in robot mode because you cannot see it from the front, but I am sad that I probably can no longer transform him to the car mode. (I bought him for displaying purpose anyhow.)

hey, im a fan from china, which has a great number of tf fans in there. considering a lotta people's opinions in our fans' forum, im guessing ironhide do have way much better paintjob than ratchet, so maybe the answer is ironhide. btw, iv owned ironhide by 2, should'v to say u wont get regret to have one.

Oh hell, yes.... My Ratchet arrived here two days ago, after I don't know how many years of waiting for a fully cartoon accurate version of him to be available. As soon as the pre-orders were up online, my cash was on the table lol! I am not disappointed. He was worth the wait ^^ ...... Now all I need is a Perceptor and I have my three favourites. The medic, the engineer and the scientist.

I have Ironhide's sled still in his box with all of his various "liquid shooters." I like the options, but most of them felt unnecessary. With this , I like that I may display Rachet with a few of his accessories or maybe let Wheeljack borrow a wrench.

I normally don't like to get more than one of each Masterpiece mold (god forbid I try to collect the Seekers as expensive as they continue to be), but I might have to make an exception and buy Ratchet, with as prominent a character he was in G1. Plus, it'll be cool to own the whole crew from the movie's shuttle attack.

Anyone here broke the panel on the leg because of the stupid tab that blocks the second flap when transforming back to vehicle mode? Mine broke because of that stupid tab. I did not apply extra force while transforming him back. Mine is original, bought it used, and I had it for 5 months. :(

I cant get the lower piece on the chest to rotate down (the step you missed on the Ironhide tranformation). Any advice?

You can use a small screwdriver, go in from behind the chest and insert the driver in the open part behind the chest and swivel it down. I had this issue with my KO Ratchet.

the robot mode looks better because of the side pieces. they blend in with the main color and looks good. But with ironhide it looked horrible. that is why I never was thinking of picking up this figure even though I've have been waiting for a MP Ratchet. Nice review Optibotimus

I agree with you, ratchet looks much better than ironhide, this is because of the white painted ratchet. This is phenomenal. The only thing I disagree is that, having placed wheels should the "toolbox" of both ironhide like ratchet. and can be closed and opened, as a kind of suitcase. but overall it is a good final product, 80% like anime. In all seriousness, the white is just fresh and bright, no off-white blech. It contrasts well with the rest of the crew. Still wish the front bumper on he and Ironhide would fold under in bot mode, but eh, it's minor. Nice review as always!

+Huneidu As I was thinking, I bet we get stickers because they cannot paint the red cross on, so instead of forcing us to take one of the two alternatives painted on, they give us options with stickers. Hopefully a third party comes up with a permanent workaround, I went with the crosses with the squares cut out but as stickers its only a matter of time before they start to peel.
