I am an 80s guy and I watched transformers since they first rolled for it. I have a small transformers collection primarily G 1. Your reviews are a source of great nostalgia fix for me. I at least get to see these great characters I grew up with in Toy form. Cheers to all transformer fans!✌️

10:04 It is a bit difficult to tell with the camera angle, but one of the things I absolutely love with these three is that they gave Starscream a darker hue to the silver in his face for screen accuracy. The plastic quality on all three also has some of the best “feel” I have ever experienced with mainline figures. Until you get them in hand, it is a bit difficult to describe, but they just feel more substantial and solid. Finally, giving Skywarp purple shoulders makes such a huge difference vs. his Siege version.

If these are as good as Starscream (which seems likely), then they're some of the most impressive, amazing pieces created for the mass market line in years. Screamer is a fantastic figure that looks and feels solid as a rock in both modes. Can't wait for the coneheads.

Transformers releases that are Target exclusives in the US often make their way to Toys R Us in Canada, which is where I got mine.

Very nice! It was inevitable, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Starscream: Same mold. Bluestreak, Prowl and Smokescreen: Same mold. So it would be natural to get all these guys in the Transformers Earthrise collection. And they look great together, really great! Awesome review, Paul!

Good luck. Was the same with me. I missed out on Siege Skywarp. I ended up getting this pack though, hopefully you will too. It seems they've been out online almost as soon as they restock. So like you, I checked local Targets, and found mine like 30 miles away from home. Was a bit of a drive, but was worth it.

I wish they had painted the stripes on the tailfins, since Starscream has his painted. I also wish they had three unique faces instead of only two. And it would've been nice if they had kept the light piping from the Siege seekers. That said, it is still a pretty good mold. I hope we get a Slipstream retool out of it in addition to the coneheads.

You taught me how to transform ROTF Starscream, one of my first Transformer figures as a kid and I always come to you whenever I have trouble with a complicated transformation. Skywarp is probably my favourite of the seeker bunch. the black and silver colour design on the chest really helps that robot mode kibble blend in on his jet form.

Aqua_ Dogx similar story for me as well. Two targets in my area won’t sell them so I’ve been staying vigilant at the online store, and checking if a Target that’s at a slightly greater distance. I refuse to bend the knee on paying scalpers at the moment.

I, like many others, have been waiting for a decent set of tetra-jet and earth-jets of the original 3 - 6. I really hope they put out repaints for the cone-heads and the extended media ones(storm treesom).

I haven't tried it yet, but I wonder how the Tetra jet heads would look on them. I've been thinking of seeing how Tetra jet Starscream, or Thundercracker's head would like on him. Because while I've really been looking forward to Skywarp, the screaming face is distracting.

@@Fadingxx I agree, the screaming face just does not work for the figure. I was planning on making a custom out of a Siege Seeker figure at some point so whenever I do manage to get this set I'll probably swap Skywarp's head with that of the Siege Seeker's head.

After missing out on Siege Skywarp (still like $200 on eBay). I was determined to get this pack before the scalpers. Target has been out of him almost since he got in. I selected the, "notify me when this product is in stock". Then one day out of curiosity, I checked online for individual stores. One Target about 30 miles away had them in stock. I wasn't busy, and felt like riding around. So went right there. An employee said a dude came in, and bought all 3 of the ones they had just put out. But, she asked me to wait, and grabbed me one from back the back room. So I did get them finally. I'd recommend grabbing one sooner than later. They're already marked up online by like 3-4x their price. They look so good together with Starscream. I like the Tetra jets, and they do have some advantages (like a waist joint, and no skirt flap). But I just like how these guys look so much more.

Targets dont even exist where I’m from so I had to settle for starscream, but I’ve always preferred the silver and colors of skywarp and thundercracker! I’m okay with the exclusivity since I’ve gone on ridiculous hunts for the storm seeker 3-pack recently. These figures in of themselves look amazing and I hope to find them one year. But the thing that really irks me at the moment is that while I haven’t been able to find at stores, you can find them on online stores. The infuriating part is that if you want to get them right away, you gotta pay the price of an official titan class figure.........absolutely...........NO!!!

If you are hunting for these always go in store. I got mine at a location in Chicago where it said zero in stock online but I checked anyway and they did have one shipping carton in back. Weirdly enough after the girl who was stocking the toy isle gave me one she put them back in the stock room.

My in universe story on why Skywarp has a shouts/screams face, is that he has a thuggish personality who uses his teleportation powers to jump scares his Decepticon teammates when he's bored. On the Autobots, he stalks them one by one and screams from behind to catch them off guard before killing them. -Anyways, the Transformers Earthrise Thundercracker and Skywarp 2-pack looks awesome. Their individual robot and jet modes blue/black/silver & black/purple/silver color schemes is awesome. It's great that you have the Siege tetrajet Thundercracker and Skywarp for comparsion. -Skywarp is a different case, since he has a different face from the other two. It makes the famous Seeker trio uneven. If Starscream had a smirking face or Skywarp to have a plain face then sure, it works. Beside that complaint, the Cybertronian Seeker 2-pack is very cool, and I'm planning on getting them.

Head pops off very easily with a screwdriver. Unfortunately the ball socket is smaller than the siege one so can just swap em... Awesome review man

i think i have the old skywarp in my house, not g1, but the original of this kind that had more g1 cartoon accuracy, like less visible lining and only 2 places to put the nullrays, both wings or arms
