I thought BO3 was prime FormaL. He was ripping with the M8A7. I think optic in general was really good that year. They should’ve won bo3 champs. Also despite popular opinion, I thought AW was a really fun game and BO3 is one of my favorite cods. I feel jetpack cods took a lot more skill to play because it was so dynamic rather than people just sitting behind cover the whole game. Your tracking and aim also had to be elite. Zooma reacting to this montage and commentating about his aim is a good tribute to Matt as it really shows what FormaL is capable of

jetpack cods bring so much excitement to the events. BOTG can get hype sometimes, but with jetpacks making things so hectic everything just looks so much crazier. Personally, I've always been a fan of jetpacks and wouldn't be upset if they ever show up again.

What faze has an advantage of right now is the fact that it's much harder to make a team to counter faze because of the cdl and the contracts. Back in the optic dynasty you had people changing event to event trying to get the 4 best players at that game next to optic to beat them. Teams nowadays can't do that which makes me think faze's dynasty might run longer and might become more dominant because of this.

I think the fact that AW FaZe was built specifically to beat OpTic was the reason they struggled against just about anybody else. If you could make it to OpTic you were great but then you'd lose at top 16 against amateurs and nobody knew what was going on.
