In all my many years of following Optic, this has to be the strangest dynamic I've seen thus far... where a player who is an Optic legend plays for another team while still part of the Optic family, and gatekeeps their advancement. Only if Hector truly sees you as family does this even happens. This was a heart decision for Hector, not a business decision. Interested in seeing how this plays out.

It wasn't like FormaL wanted to take them out or even face them. There was no telling they would play OpTic in the way they did. Hector letting FormaL do this is like when he released Arcity's to go to FaZe. Hecz isn't the type of guy to hold his friends/family back from their dreams.

Formal is my all time favorite player. I've always been drawn to the slower more methodical AR role is fps esports. before Formal it was Clayster, and as soon as Optic picked swapped them out i instantly gravitated to Formal as my favorite. his play style has always been so entertaining and his vibes are always top tier. happy for the guy.

I never got the pleasure in seeing Formal play Halo and that game 5 vs Optic was Final...... Formal knows if he is in that flow state nothings getting between him and winning. I remember feeling that way one time in elementary school and I threw a no hitter in the Championship game against a team that was 12-0 knowing everyone will remember that one moment forever makes it that much more special.
