How could you end the optics lecture without talking about the correction of astigmatism with the help of cylinders? You did not even talk about cylinders in the " Types of Lenses"!

I want to know how a biological eye deals with chromatic abbreviations? Photography lens manufacturers face incredible challenges with coatings, groups of lenses to deal with this yet our eyes have no problem. Please do not tell me the brain corrects this. To take an out of focus point of light which spreads to a fuzzy circle, a very physical thing and reconstruct this back to a point where all the other colors of light are focused would indeed be a miracle. Are the color receptors set at microscopic distances for each of the main colors (400-700nm) at where these focal points are? Newton would have never had to invent a curved mirror and a reflector telescope if simple lenses did not suffer so much from chromatic aberration. So what truly is natures trick?
