I have always been a Leica fan. But now that they are made in Portugal I find it difficult to accept that they are the same quality. There’s something about “ Made in Germany “ that makes them true Leica binoculars. It’s like saying I went to a Journey concert. Without Steve Perry it’s not Journey. It’s just a good band.

So at this point the glass is at same level with Swarovski. Light transmission and field of view is higher than EL. Ergonomics are better than Swarovski EL. So are they better than ELs at this point?

I recently received a pair of 8x42 Noctivids. They are absolutely wonderful to use. That being said, I can't get over the feeling of guilt for loving the Ultravid 7x42 HD Plus model a little bit more. They're lighter, more compact, and have a better FOV, and I don't notice the smaller magnification. What's wrong with me? REALLY ENJOY YOUR REVIEWS.

Hi! my problem is that there is a yellowish circle on the lens at dusk, but only when there is strong light in the eye, say when I look at half the sunset

I have a set of Leica Noctivid 10x42 and compared them to Zeiss SF Victory binoculars this past Fall. They had slight differences optically, but they both are excellent.
