Very good ex. Have a question, how can I tabulate the EC/PPM? After all rec etc measuring the EC/PPM= 1.2 day after increase to 2.0 is this common?

A rise in EC can be the result of the plants needing more water than nutrition at a particular time. If the water level drops without nutrient uptake it will increase EC. i have a question i'm using mega crop organic fertilizer and my ph goes up the next day from 5.8 to 6.4 is that normal for organic fertilizers to increase your ph like that?

This is quite normal yes, pH levels always change when using fertilizers and some additives, plus they may also fluctuate during the course of a day so don’t worry. Generally plants like a slightly acidic solution between 5.5 and 6.5 so you are still in a safe range. Just adjust the pH if it goes any further.

Hi, I have question. I mixed my nutrients until I get the desired PPM which is around 800. And upon checking the pH it has drop till around 3.4pH so I adjuated it to 6pH as desired. After the pH adjustment I tried to re-check the PPM level again and it has drop to around 200 PPM. Initially l, I already get the desired 800PPM but when I tried to adjust the pH the nutrient level drops. I also found out that when I lowered the pH again to around 3pH, the PPM level start to raise to the initial amount which is until 700++. Is that mean when I wanted the nutrient level to be around 800ppm, I should make it first maybe around 1500ppm or more thick so when I adjusted the pH to the desired pH I can get around 800ppm upon recheck with the pH I wanted ?

It seems like you are having so very large fluctuations in your numbers. Can I ask what the size of your water reservoir is?

@@proponics I use a very small water 3L reservoir only. Is it may be due to the small water reservoir ? I adjusted the pH to 6pH but it seems that the nutrient level has dropped too much. And I used Potassium Hydroxide for pH up dan Citric Acid for pH down.

No, at that size you should be able to get accurate readings pretty fast. With a lager reservoir it would take longer for everything to settle and to get an accurate reading. What nutrition are you using?

Why not use say Coke to lower pH? Baking soda to raise it? Vinegar to lower. It's not the space program people. No need to buy pH up and down $$$$. Simple stuff you already have at home.

While it's certainly possible you have to be cautious of how precise your measurements are, any additional compounds that may affect the plants, and a lack of long-term stabilisation, to name a few. Balanced solutions that are specifically for hydroponics are designed to mitigate all of these issues.
