Optimizing Straw for Thermal Power Generation: Baling and Chopping | HORSCH Farm | FS 22 | ep #22

Welcome back to the HORSCH AgroVation Farm Timelapse. Initially, we engage in fieldwork using the FENDT 936 VARIO tractor equipped with straw raking and baling machinery. After producing the straw bales, we transport them to our yard. Subsequently, we commence the delivery of these bales to our thermal power station, initiating the preparation process for burning in the kiln.
To facilitate this, we incorporate a bale crusher into our operations and acquire a CASE W20E wheel loader. This loader aids in moving the straw bales to the chopper. Transportation from the field to the chopper is streamlined using a truck and platform trailer. Chopped straw is loaded onto trailers and then transported to the thermal power plant.
Beyond this, we prioritize soil cultivation post-harvest. Our FENDT 1050 tractor, coupled with the HORSCH TIGER 8 MT cultivator, has already completed cultivation in one field and has been relocated to a larger field. Additionally, we've invested in another HORSCH TIGER 8 MT cultivator, attaching it to a modified FENDT 936 VARIO tractor specifically upgraded for this task.
