Lovely looking machine. Just a few comments though: I know that this is a demo only, but this is how bad habits become the norm.1) The vice that you are using is not rigid enough for a milling machine, it is a drill press vice, it also needs to be securely fastened to the table not loose like shown here. This vice would only be suitable for very light work and I would not use it for any serious milling, the chance of the workpiece coming out of the vice would be quite high, let alone the lack of rigidity and thus accuracy. 2) The tool guard is put on the machine for a reason, and it is interlocked for the same reason safety. It should not be removed or over ridden as shown
