Optimum Stop Watch

I bought one of these watches about a year ago little over maybe. It works great I really liked it . Easy to set up clear digits for an old guy to be able to see. Normally what happens with my watch as I miss placed them. So I have tried all the different brands. I thought this one was clearly above the rest. Now comes the bad part. I came in on day two of a three day event in Santa Cruz. I took my gear off and suddenly my watch started beeping. I went over to shut it off and I could not turn it off. It continued to beep all through the night . It finally stopped beeping sometime the next morning early. I never mess with or tried to open it up or anything before this happened. Don’t remember banging it but you know things happen. I sail in the San Francisco Bay sometimes it gets a little crazy. I let the watch sit around for a couple months before I was able to find a screwdriver to take the back off. When I opened it up there was a little rust stain in there. Somehow water got into the watch. I am a big fan of all rooster products and things that are recommended by Steve and his crew seem to work extremely well. Unfortunately I had one bad experience don’t know if this happened to anybody else. When I finally looked it up I was probably a few months past the warranty. Because I felt so good about this watch when it was working I ordered another one as a replacement. What is the definition of insanity. I’m hoping the results with this one are going to be different from the first. Laser that’s right Laser . 199511 USA I just can’t get behind the re-branding to ILCA Dinghy Stephen

What is the difference between the 5.4.1.0 mode and the 5M mode? I can't see any difference?

In 5.4.1.0 it beeps when it hits 5min. 4min. 1min. And at the start

I think you have misrepresented something. You cannot set seconds on this watch. Your video indicated that when you press mode you can set seconds. This is incorrect - the second you set the minutes THIS IS your time hack - never seen a digital watch that doesnt display seconds in time mode.
