Good question! I'm not sure that you can. I guess you can't turn a normal watch off either

@@philswatersports I think you’re right! I tried just about everything with it and couldn’t find a way. Your point about not being able to “turn off” a normal watch either makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much for responding and for the very helpful video too!

There's nothing in the instructions about it as far as I can see. I guess it would sense, since most sailors probably don't use it when not sailing. Turning the watch off would probably reset the time too which would be a pain. I'm happy just to change the battery every 3 or 4 years to be honest! Glad it helped 👍
