We could all use more leaders like Optimus. Everyone needs to just follow the golden rule “Treat others the way you wanna be treated” I’ve learned at a young age that the best type of authority figures are the ones that are not just your boss, but they are your friend. Be gentle…yet firm

Once again, Prime, miracles never cease with you. History has shown us time and again of the pros and cons of humanity. We may not be the best species the universe but we do know the concepts of good and evil. Sometimes, we don't become wiser in not repeating our mistakes. But there are times where we must relearn them. Not every lesson learned is always permanent. You're right that we have the capacity and capability of love, honor, compassion, sacrifice, loyalty, honesty, nobility, wisdom, determination, dedication, commitment, selflessness, courage and more importantly, mercy. Let's not forget the negatives such as greed, deceit, lust, manipulation, anger, sadness, discrimination, prejudice, fear and so on. But we are not the only beings in universe capable of all of these things. There are other species out there that are just like us. Including Cybertronians. I like what you said about us having a Megatron. Even humans can be Autobots and Decepticons in their own right. Certain villains throughout history were "Megatrons" all of their own. And some of the heroes who defeated them were "Optimus Primes" all of their own. There's a Megatron and an Optimus inside each in every one of us. But what we choose to do determines that outcome. Humans and Cybertronians are very much alike. We are both capable of all of those traits that I have listed. And both of our careless, senseless and reckless actions lead to all the wars that nearly devastated both our respective worlds. Whether it's because of greed, racism, sexism, slavery, mistreatment, dogma or just power for power's sake varies throughout time. It even caused our friends to become our enemies. Like you and Megatron for example. Abe Lincoln was an Optimus Prime as he made changes so people can be equal to one another by freeing the slaves. It is tragic that throughout history many good leaders meet their end at the hands of assassination. Such as Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr and JFK. All just to snuff out any leader who truly care for their people. These days people vote for whoever has the loudest voice. Most of the world's problems involve whoever is currently in charge. People who become president for selfish reasons rather than the responsibilities that come with it, tend to make bad choices to suit their interests. Because when you're in charge in an occupation like that, you become a victim of temptation. Saying goes "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". Therefore, we must be careful of such temptations least we become a danger to our people and ourselves. In short, all of this is natural in sentient beings. It's what makes them... "them". And there's no doubt about it. Thank you for listening, Optimus.
