Tbh Ik this is controversial but I can understand the junk at the back of Primes truck on this figure, as in the movie the back of primes truck is kibble free, the only part you can see is the trailer hitch. That being said I do think they could have perhaps have had it better engineered by having the kibble at the back of the truck had hinges to fold in so that it didn’t protrude as much from the back. My main complaints with this figure are that it’s an exclusive to begin with, I can’t stand exclusives. The arms and head look a little disproportionate to the body and the gun is too small. But for the most part I think it’s good. Great review as always Mitch, so glad you are back in action. For us fellow nerds and geeks to hand out and enjoy. Xx

A lot of the issues stem from the fact that this had a retool budget, but ended up being an entirely new mold, hence the mild lack of paint and the legs in truck mode.

I manage to get one. And that’s the sad part, ONE!!! That’s how many my Target had when this came out. Vehicle mode only became good thanks to upgrades. Robot Mode was good, at first, and then upgrades made it better. DNA made the cannons he deserves, has his awesome blades and axes, and has WAY better shoulders. I put his Pea shooter in the matrix chamber where it belongs. Then I got the Go Better upgrade, and with the back filler, he looks more complete. Overall, good figure, but as soon as upgrades came, he became Peak Prime!!

hey mitch, uh I have a problem with my ss 102 Optimus the waist (the red mushroom peg that pegs the waist together) keeps popping off do you know how I could fix it?

mushroom peg huh? if the slot is too tight it could tend to pop out. you could try to open up that clearance on either piece but theres a fine line between too loose so i’d be careful

@@mitchsantona no it's not tight it's bcz the grey piece (waist) has alot of clearance so I just don't know how to like close up that clearance so it doesn't pop out (you can check my community post about the peg I used images so you can see though there if you don't rly understand what I'm saying) cuz I'm Indonesian and not a native English speaker
