Man i cant get enough of this sight thanks for answering my questions and showing me the best sight hands down. You can tell your a passionate hunter who loves to tinker by the way you designed this sight. Probably because most of us western big game hunters all want the same thing out of a sight and no one offered it so your like ill just build my own hahaha freaking love it. God bless and keep the amazing products coming. Cant wait to get my new lift and put this sight on it. Also curious do you recommend bridge lock attachment or standered side mount attachment. Is there a big difference in weight between the two.

Does changing the bubble on the housing for 3rd axis then not make it level when your shooting on a flat plane?
@OptionArchery7 күн бұрын
@@LutzWyatt there is also adjustment for 2nd axis……which is what is used for leveling “on flat ground”. This adjustment for 3rd axis just rotates the level bracket (pivots in a plane parallel to the ground….when aiming on the flat). 👍🏼. (Dan)

I’m hunting in Alaska. I primarily will be hunting caribou with 340 spline with Mechanical Broadhead primarily. However, I want to hunt Grizzly with a very heavy arrow and fixed broad head. Is it possible to set the multi pin housing for my caribou arrows and single pin for my grizzly arrow set up if the splines are the same?

Yes, you can definitely set the fixed pins for one setup and the mover pin for another...... if you have arrow setups that tune without changing your arrow rest settings, and as long as your windage setting is the same for the sight for both setups. If you will be using each arrow setup on totally different trips you can also just figure out which sight tape is correct for each arrow, and switch the sight tapes when you switch from one arrow setup to the other.......and set the fixed pins to match the current sight tape. There are plenty of "options" on how you can use the sight. If you have more questions feel free to e-mail me direct at dan@optionarchey.com. Thanks! (Dan)

LOOKING AT THIS SIGHT WHICH I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A LOT OF REVIEWS ON ARCHERYTALK.COM....IT LOOKS LIKE THE FAST EDDIE XL HAS A LARGER AMOUNT OF TRAVEL VERTICALLY AND MORE TRAVEL LEFT TO RIGHT AS WELL....IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE ADVANTAGE THIS WOULD HAVE OVER THE SPOT HOGG FAST EDDIE XL...LIKE THE MATRIX TARGET BY THE WAY.... SO MY QUESTION TO DAN WOULD BE WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF CHOOSING THIS SIGHT OVER THE SPOT HOGG FAST EDDIE XL THAT HAS THE LARGER RANGE OF SHOOTING DISTANCE AS WELL....

Jermaine jermaine Spot Hogg makes a good quality product as well. The patented feature that I have on the Option Sights is what sets them apart. Being able to remove the fixed pins from your view is what sets this design apart from all other sights on the market. Having fixed pins (that are always sighted in - no matter where your mover pin is set) is a huge advantage in many hunting sceneries, but having the single (moveable) pin only in your view allows you to have a uncluttered view, and of course allows for the dead on hold (at any yardage) that is very nice for ultimate accuracy. As far as maximum yardage, the round housing models (Option 4s and 6s) will usually give 70-90yards (depends on arrow speed) max range, and the oval housing (Option 8s) will give you 100-140 yards. We have a full lifetime warranty on them as well! Definitely let me know if you have any questions! My direct e-mail is dan@optionarchery.com And you can check the product out, and order at optionarchery.com Thanks, Dan

any new videos coming out on this sight? Didn't fully understand what you mean by you rather have it set at zero when its sighted in, if you move anything wouldn't that throw the sight off? Could you explain on lower level so i could grasp what your saying
