Watching after the live. Will you discuss benefits of "buying" vs "selling" options in this series? I have been selling options (call and puts)?

Buying strategies tend to be more directional in nature. With a long call, for example, the stock has to move up in valuable to be profitable and move up within a certain time frame. The benefit is that with a long call there is unlimited profitable potential. Selling strategies tend to be less directional and depending on which strikes are sold might have a higher probability of success. The profit is limited however to the credit received when the trade is placed. Hope this helps. ^Barb
