As per the call option, in the example you mentioned, you said you have the right to buy them at 155 on/before the expiry date, but if you want to make a profit, you actually need to buy them and sell them immediately later, so you need a good amount of liquidity, much more than 200$. Could you please clarify on that please?

That will usually happen during expiry, and you'll need to takeover the shares. However, many times when you close the trade earlier, you just sell it out in the open market like any stock, and you wouldn't need to go through the hassle of buying the 100 shares, and then selling it again

Buying options is very risky. The odds are against you. There is the time decay. The only way you can make money is if you can predict the market direction consistently which is very hard to do. In my opinion it is legalized gambling. They best is to be on the opposite side of the trade and be the seller instead like you said in another video. But then you already have to own the shares or have a lot of money to do that. Making money is hard.

@@Insomniac-c7e you have a point. However there is a way to buy single options and still be profitable. The best way to trade options, is to first look at the characteristics of the underlying and then choose the option strategy suited to that underlying stock. Most option buyers don't do that; if you bought a call option on a stock that moves like a snail of course it's very likely it would be a loosing trade
