Been using the L-eNhance filter for a couple of months now from my backyard and so far have been very impressed with the results in a suburban environment with LED street lights and under full moon. Using it with a Meade 10inch SCT and the ASI294mcPro.

You can use that filter with mono camera as luminance layer. :)

Nice video with plenty of good info. I just received my L'eNhance and eager to start shooting. It's nebula season and I have plenty of targets lined up. Now if only Mother Nature will give me clear skies.

Hey Shawn.....have this filter and use it with my Esprit 80 Apo and 183MC Pro. Love it. My only thought is during post processing. Not alot of info on really how do do it in pixinsight or APP. Could be me not seeing anything. But images straight from SGP look awesome

@@phfen hello.....a buddy of mine did an awesome tutorial on APP. Rosewell astronomy. Check him out. What I've been doing is in tab 0.....Set baader patern....mine RGGB.....then in pull down....Ha-Oiii color. Now not sure if correct but that's what I got.

I’m using the L-Enhance and L-Pro for EAA, getting very good results especially with my Skywatcher Equinox 80. My camera is a Mallincam Skyraider DS10c. Other Gear: Equinox 120, Edge 9.25, AZEQ6, AZGTe. I trust KW RASC is still going strong?

Hey Mike - I had an Equinox 80 when I first got back into Astrophotography. Was a great scope. I took a lot of great images with it. The KW RASC I don't know. Is the optolong better than buying astronomikl h alpha filter that inserts into my camera? I was told that with the astronomical h alpha filter its only good with a modified camera? Can you help me to better understand.. I don't want to spend big bucks on getting my canon t3i modified and still have to buy a h alpha filter.

So Triad Ultra quad band Is similar ti L-enhance Optolong?

The Triad is a quad band filter isolating more wavelengths. The L-enhance filter is a dual band. Both will yield good results. I use the L-enhance regularly.

Would this filter help with CA or star bloat? I'm lucky enough to not have much light pollution, but doublet does have a bit of CA. My Baader Semi-APO with Moon & SkyGlow filter really helps with the purple fringes, but my stars are MUCH larger than without it.

Hey, was really excited about this filter but unfortunately really didnt get good results, would just say don't buy if you use a stock dslr, sure it's great on a dedicated astro camera, or modded slr.😥

Why the hell would they call a quad Band filter (quad meaning 4) a triad which means three? Pretty confusing marketing decision there. it sure seemed like the guy with the long white hair had a financial interest in the Success of the L enhance filter. That was shocking to see that long white hair when it popped up on the screen. Cool dude!

No the guy with the long white hair (Ron) does not have a financial interest in the Lenhance. I always think he looks kind of like Brian May from Queen, with that hair. Cheers.
