From what I gather, I shouldn't be using an optolong L ENHANSE wiith my Rokinon 135 at native f2? How much should I stop the lens down if I want to use the L ENHANSE? I'm imaging in bortle 8-9.

Hi there! You can experiment with the L-Enhance if you want to stop it down to the range it’s intended for which is below f/4 roughly. To shoot images at f/2 you do usually need a specialized filter for it since the bandwidth shifts at f/2 and really fast optics. But I do have some friends who have used the L-Enhance on an f/2 and got decent results so try it all out and see which works best for you! :)

I was told the L ENHANSE works well with a rasa, (Celestine Edge) in imaging mode, which is f2. This was by a knowledgeable representative at an astronomy store we all know.

@@protonflux5766 Yes! That’s exactly right. The higher f/ratio shifts the bands of transmission and color so you’ll get different results than what’s intended. But you CAN do it, but it just may not perform quite like it’s supposedly intended to.
