Thanks for this, swapping mine out this evening. I won't know exact hours I have on the OEM bulb, but it's a good bit over 8000hrs, probably closer to 8500hrs. It's 4yrs 10months old.

Hi Chris, do u know does it matter which way u connect the 2 wires back up to the bulb, there is no markings on it to say which goes where

Bought a philips bulb off amazon. It wasn’t easy to find and wasn’t cheap...was $71...but definitely cheaper than getting a new projector or TV

That’s not a filter! It’s just a cover for the speaker.

Hi Chris! I have the HD142X. The lamp led is coming on after 10 minutes use and turning itself off. The colours are not fully correct when on and it flickers at high frequency. Sound like a replacement lamp? Also the colour wheel is making a loud whirring at all times - had this replaced under warranty but 4 months later same problem. any advice will be much appreciated :)

I would replace lamp and color wheel. I had to do both of mine at the same time

It's not too hard. Just don't touch lamp or lens or color wheel with bare hands wear gloves.

Hi, Question did the red LED lamp indicator blinkt or was in constantly on? Mine does not work anymore. The red LED lamp is constantly on Red and the On red LED is blinking... Does this indicate the same issue for replacing the lamp?

Just happened to me. I’ve heard the bulb popping and red light went on. Were you able to replace it? Do you have a link to the bulb you bought?
