Love my tarot but this is soooooo refreshing to see. There are some truly wonderful oracle decks with incredible themes out there. I wish more tarot enthusiasts would give oracle a chance instead of brushing them to one side. Looking forward to the next instalment and thanks for highlighting oracle.

This was a great introductory video Ethony. I started working with tarot about a year ago, and at that time, for some reason, I told myself I was not going to work with Oracle decks. I don’t know why. But that was my stance and I stuck with it for six months. Then I was sent an oracle deck in a monthly subscription box, and I started working with it, and I immediately became hooked. I am now an oracle deck fanatic. I have had some very powerful readings from oracle cards. I will always be a tarot person, but now I am a tarot AND Oracle person. I look forward to more videos in this series. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ethony, great video. I started with Tarot years ago, but got away from it due to the complexity. In the meantime I found Oracle Cards and they were the bridge to the natural intuition I always felt I had. I have almost 2 dozen decks and I'm always looking to resonate with new decks. I now either use them exclusively or combine them with Tarot for "deluxe" readings for myself and clients. I'm glad to be part of any conversation about them - yours are SO BEAUTIFUL - I'm looking forward to the rest of this series!💕

Thanks Ethony. I’ve found lately that I’m more drawn to my ( rapidly escalating!) oracle deck collection. When life gets stressful I find them rather less demanding than tarot. Ideally I do like to use both oracle card(s) and tarot for readings ..when I have the mental energy. And am always really keen to learn more about pairing of oracle/ tarot cards as this skill doesn’t come naturally to me.

I feel like oracle is 98% based on intuition…. I’ve always been able to deeply connect with oracle.. I struggle with tarot because it’s a very structured organized system… the reason it differs slightly is because of the reader’s perspective… I’m always perplexed at ppl saying it’s evil or asking if it’s evil… ummmm here’s the thing… are their evil witches? Yes…on that same note there are evil religious preachers ministers etc.. anything can be considered evil if the person doing that thing has bad or evil intentions. I was Christian for the first part of adulthood.. I’m 48. I was a horrible person as a Christian… does that mean Christianity is horrible? No… I was. So same concept applies to any and everything.😊

What is the deck at 5:30? Interesting video. I'm always curious about how to read cards with keywords. I like the idea of reading intuitively and I wonder why even have a picture, if there is a word there anyway. Same with tarot, actually.

I think the keyword can help people and titles do have meanings but then the pictures, colours and symbols are all different layers readers can use to intuitively read the cards.
