Thank you, Naresh, for the great video! The errors that pop up when using multi-subject areas is very common in analysis creation. Most of us would like to know the cause and how to address it.

Hello and than you for your video. I'm facing a problem regarding Requisition Recruiter filter in OTBI dashboard. Starting from the first tab of the dashboard, named Requisitions (SA: Recruiting Real Time), we give this filter a value and we take the data. Moving on to the next tab, named Applications (SA: Recruiting Real Time), the value we gave in the filter remains so we can immediately see the next set of corresponding data. The issue arises when moving to the next tabs, named Inactive Applications, where the filter doesn’t retain its value and the user needs to input it again manually. I have the same behavior for Person Type filter. Can this be relate with the fact that Inactive Applications belong to a different subject area (Recruiting Events Real Time)? Or is it something else? Am I missing something? Thank you!

Hi Maria, It is bit difficult to understand the issue, can you elaborate more.

@@TechTalkwithNaresh I have a Dashboard with the following analysis (tabs) called: 1. Requisitions (SA:Recruiting Real Time) 2. Applications (SA:Recruiting Real Time) 3. Inactive Applications (SA:Recruiting Events Real Time) For all of these analysis I have created some prompts. One of them is for the Recruiter Full Name. So, when I'm analysis 1. and I select a value for the Recruiter Full Name filter, it gives me back the required result. Same will happened If I'll just click to navigate to the second analysis. Although, for the third analysis, the value does not remain and I have to manually selected again. I don't know if still my explanation is enough.... thank you

@Maria I got your point, but I won't face such situation any time. Please check all same condition for the second and third prompt or not.

Hello Naresh, when I attempted to retrieve data from two subject areas, I encountered an error message from the ODBC driver: 'Error during query processing (SQLExecDirectW).' Could you please provide the join conditions for these two subject areas? The subject areas are as follows: Procurement - Purchasing (Real-time) Procurement - Requisitions (Real-time) Please explain how to join them.

Hi Naresh, i thought that to be able to use 2 subject areas you should use measurement columns from both subject areas. Here you use measurement from only one of the subject areas. So is it possible?
@TechTalkwithNaresh3 жыл бұрын
@Bobby if you are going by first appearance which I explained it is ok to use it once, but if you are using second approach you have to take it from both the subject are for join condition.
