Oh this deck is so pretty. I love Jane Austen! My favorite is Pride & Prejudice and Emma. I have tried reading the books and I just cannot with all the formal names and writing style, I just prefer to watch the movies. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤❤❤

What do you think about the audiobooks? I couldn't get into reading P&P until I listened to the book (even though it was my favourite movie). The narrator brought it to life for me

It is such a beautiful deck to look at. I have a friend that rereads Pride and Prejudice every year. But I’m with you. I also prefer to experience the stories through the movies 😅. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video 💗 Audiobooks are my thing though so I might just try that. Such a good idea! I never think to listen to the classics. 💡

@@RobynsReflections if you and @amethystascensiontarot like the 2005 movie, look for the audiobook narrated by Rosamund Pike, who played Jane!! It's abridged, I think, but it'll let you get a taste of whether you want to do the classic version eventually....

This is so pretty and the perfect Austen aesthetic!!!! I just wish I loved the cards. The messages don't make me feel like I'm connecting with her works. I hoped it would be something more directly drawn from the stories somehow.

It is definitely a beautiful deck. I think the art is very sweet and there’s no arguing with the Austen visual aesthetic. I agree that interpretations aren’t as straightforward though. I haven’t read with this yet but I’m thinking it could be kind of fun to let the cards spark my imagination to create a new story. I’ll have to see how it works once I try it though. I was mostly drawn in by the aesthetic and I figured if nothing else it can go with my love reading stuff. Thanks so much for stopping by and for sharing your thoughts! 🥰

@@RobynsReflections ohhh that's interesting!! I think I'm not yet familiar enough with her work to be able to do this, (but I'd like to). I've read and watched P&P over and over, but only just watched S&S (the Kate Winslet one) this year. Challenge accepted! An Austen binge it is 😊😊😊
