A few drops won't do much damage. But dropping now and then will eventually ruin it. I have used a lot of earbuds. They hardly fall off my desk or pocket. Sometimes, I keep my earbuds on the floor. 😆 No earbuds I have used have fallen up to 4 times. And they worked fine. You have to be careful with them. And for sweat, it is suitable. But for showers, rain, or swimming, remove and keep them.
