Right off the bat, why do you floss AFTER brushing? Floss BEFORE you brush, then the 'debris' is removed and you can actually brush (polish) the surfaces directly.

please do not worry about what other people do with their flossing

This recommendation was in my drugstore, three steps, 1. Brush 2. Floss 3. Flour mouth wash I told the dentist that I thought it sounded strange to do brushing before flossing. She answered that she knew about that, and that she also found it strange. So I followed her recommendation instead.

I don't get the sensitivity that others get but these clean better between the teeth. It just gets into gaps better so you don't need as much pressure as the "precision clean" brushheads.

I have tried the cross action but even with slight pressure on each tooth for 5 seconds it leaves my teeth very sore and sensitive. When I go back to precision clean I don't get the sensitivity - could be the firmness of the cross action bristles but for me personally it hurts my teeth. Would be interested if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.

I just use the floss brush version and the sensitive cross action is not made for every teeth but i would never recomend people really using it often it can totally rip your enamel out

butterfly kisses thanks. I'm actually having to stop the cross action as because the brushhead is bigger, the back of the vibrating brushhead has chipped one of my lower molars knocking on them while cleaning the chewing surface of the uppers. I just stick to the precision clean now as the head is smaller. I don't know why the cross-action head is bigger as it's much harder to fit into the mouth without knocking the teeth.

@@butterflykisses4764 agreed. i’m finding the cross action to be too firm and hurts my teeth. the precision clean is definitely softer and more comfortable to brush with so i just stick with that
