Fun fact: The 4 different colored rings represent the 4 seasons of the year (green spring, red summer, yellow autumn/fall, blue winter) to remind you when to replace the brush head. PS: I just made this sh*t up.

Its prolly accurate.. i used mine for a good 3 seasons and it started to mold.. eww

Love it. Straight to the conclusion in the beginning for those who just wanna know which one is better without explanation.

There may be quality 3rd party brush heads, I’ve not found them. If I’ve invested money in an electric toothbrush, even though heads are expensive, I figure might as well spend the money for the best gum care

Sensi UltraThin/Pro GumCare

Trizone and Dualclean are actually my fav, since they resemble the regular brush shape, and I actually hate the normal tiny round brush heads that Oral B uses, which are so inefficient for me. They are just not commonly in stock 😢

I can't find the "GumCare ultra-thin" brush head on oral b site (US) anymore, though it is still available in some retailers. Did they replace it with "Oral-B Sensitive & Gum X X"? It looks similar. They keep changing the names, it's confusing.
@ElectricTeeth4 ай бұрын
Yes it is very confusing. They keep changing the names. Oral-B Sensitive & Gum X-Filament seems to be the newest version still. The tips of the bristles have an x shape rather than rounded.

may i ask.. are sensitive clean and sensi ultra thin the same heads? they look exactly the same but it is a different name for some reason. I ordered sensi ultra and the sent me sensitive clean.
@ElectricTeeth5 ай бұрын
It depends where you are in the world. But as a general rule yes. Previously, sensitive and sensi ultrathin had different bristle designs/configurations. However, it appears Oral-B is beginning to switch this so that they are the same. Essentially the design of Sensi UltraThin is becoming the 'sensitive' brush head.

@asmrmistress9630 Hi! I live in Greece... i can't find sensi ultra anymore.. only sensitive clean here!

I have the option to buy sensitive clean with either x-shape bristles or rounded. Which one would you recommend?
@ElectricTeeth3 ай бұрын
I don't have a preference currently. Oral-B have started making the x tipped bristles with claims of better results. I don't think my testing can really distinguish the difference. I think it needs clinical testing to really highlight any pros or cons and we don't do that.

What are your thoughts on MaxClean brush heads for superior plaque removal?
@ElectricTeeth3 ай бұрын
Do you mean the Oral-B brush heads with CleanMaximizer bristles?
@dreid47603 ай бұрын
@@ElectricTeeth The package states- Oral-B, Refill Brush Heads, MaxClean, Advance Clean, Superior Plaque Removal.
@ElectricTeeth3 ай бұрын
Hmmm I am not sure exactly what this is referring to. I think it just means it should clean the teeth really well.

You'd be best off using the softer brush heads. Thus the Sensitive/Sensi UltraThin/Pro GumCare. Always best to discuss with your dental/medical professional given your condition.

What about the Dual Clean Oral B brush heads, do they clean better than the regular round ones.
@ElectricTeeth3 ай бұрын
I've not done tests to really say to be honest. The dual clean head is less common and has been phased out really by Oral-B so I have not focused my testing on this head.

Where I'm from, they are selling a value pack of 8xPrecision clean for 52 dollars, meaning each head costs a mere $6.50 which is very cheap even compared to third party alternatives! Do you think the Precision Clean heads can be set for life?
@ElectricTeeth3 ай бұрын
Yes, they are perfectly good brush heads.

Can I ask, can you use the cross action toothbrush head on Maryland bridge or would the sensitive clean head be better? I’m worried I may damage the bridge

You can use the crossaction brush head with this bridge it will not do any damage.

@@ElectricTeethJust seen the pro gum care/ sensitive ultra thin brush heads and I’m wondering if these will be better on my Maryland bridge than the cross action since you said the bristles are the softest. Which one would you recommend please/ is there much difference in softness, thank you!
@ElectricTeeth4 ай бұрын
Both are safe. If you prefer soft then the pro gum care/ sensitive ultra thin brush heads are the one to go for. They clean comparably to the CrossAction. The pro gum care/ sensitive ultra thin brush heads are the same, just named differently in different parts of the world. Confusingly Oral-B has started calling them 'Sensitive' too.

@@ElectricTeeth Thank you so much. I have noticed when looking online at the pro gum care/ sensitive ultra thin brush heads that more shops are selling the sensitive clean heads ( more blue in comparison to the others) that you also shown in the video- are these both the same if not which ones are better/ newer? Do they both fit the oral B pro series 3?
