Thank God, you posted this 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻👍🏻 I have been searching online, looking through reviews on KZbin and otherwise, and nowhere could I hear if the massage mode was supposed to do that kind of slow down and speed up and slow down and speed up noise/action that it was doing. I just bought this toothbrush over the weekend and I thought maybe it was broken. I do need the massage on my gums so I've left it on that mode thinking that I should get it replaced. But, I can clearly hear in your video that when it's on that massage mode (wave-ish looking icon) that it is supposed to do that. Again, thank you!

Hi, thanks for your review I really found it interesting. You have had ample time now to cross examine Braun and to find out why they are tracking the rinse wash. How did you go with this? The other thing is if the brush handles a charge for 2 weeks am I meant to turn the charge port off?

Glad you found it interesting. I have not reviewed any other toothbrushes. This is my go to brush - still use it. Not sure how long the charge lasts. You don't need to turn off the charge port, you can leave it plugged in. Hope that helps.

I have the black version. I can’t seem to switch modes. On the app it shows a locked icon next to the cleaning modes. Any idea why?

Hey Ted, based on my understanding you switch modes on the physical toothbrush. Unless you’re referring to something else. Alternatively, try re-installing the app and repairing it with your brush. I hope that helps. Have a great weekend. - Sean

I had exactly the same problem. Deleting the app and connecting the toothbrush with app again helped. Maybe the problem was that I downloaded the app and opened it before I even got the electric toothbrush. Thanks for the help!

Do you use the gum care mode for your gums? Can you use sensitive mode to brush your gums as well?

The battery is starting to show it's age and I'll probably need to replace it soon, but I've been using it every single day for the past 2 years. It also survived an unplanned 30 metre drop. It fell out of the bathroom window and landed in the driveway. The bottom part popped off, but I re-assembled it and it was still working. I'll buy this toothbrush again.

I read if you switch off auto sync you can use this as a family brush with different heads. Just need to take phone to sink for each session 🙂

Shaun Fourie - Awesome! Enjoy it - I also love the fact that it auto tracks your brushes. You just need to sync them down to your phone once a month, as it can only store 30 days worth. I still love mine and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Have fun!

Hey Moh, thanks for watching and commenting. If you want the smart features, then sure I'd recommend upgrading. However, having said that, I don't use the tracking and bluetooth functionality at all anymore. I enjoyed it at the beginning, but won't use it going forward. I'll however probably still buy another one of these, as after 2 years the batter no longer holds its full charge. I hope that helps. Cheers, Sean
