An oral mechanism examination is a medical evaluation designed to assess the physical condition and function of the mouth and related structures. Many professionals may carry out an oral mechanism exam, including dentists, doctors, and speech therapists. The oral mechanism evaluation may form part of a full head and neck exam, or may be performed in isolation. This type of examinations is commonly used to diagnose the causes of many different kinds of speech disorders.

Nice video, but please do it once again, filming in another angle that we can see what exactly you see on her bite, lips, teeth and so on. greets

one question I have is why not have them do the "B" "D" "G" as well since you had them do the P T K? Wouldn't you want to know about the voiced sounds too?

BDG is the same place of articulation as PTK. It's just testing the rate that the tongue can move between articulators. It would move at the same rate. Some of the sounds are partially voiced, anyway.

It's weird when you try to allude washing your hands to the girls gag reflex. I know what your instructor wants; a sense of personability to the client, BUT I really hope you don't use the whole, "I wash my hands and whoop, here's your gag reflex working properly!", routine. Super weird and non congruent.
