Hello Dr. Ryan, could you please clarify this for me? I really couldn't understand why the percentage of epinephrine stays the same despite greater amounts of anesthesia being added. In other words, and per the video, one cartridge contains 1:50 000 2 cartridges 1: 100 000 4 cartridges 1: 200 000 Why didn't the percentage of epinephrine change?
@DeepakSethRhea Жыл бұрын
basically what he is trying to explain is the amount of epinephrine in different concentrations . in 1:50,000 epinephrine concentration of epinephrine is 0.04 mg hence give only 1 carpule , in 1:100,000 epinephrine concentration is diluted hence you can give 2 carpules , in 1:200,000 epinephrine concentration is more diluted hence can give 4 carpules.

I still use Auscultatory than Oscillometric, I find it more reliable and accurate to take Bp in analog than digital especially when the batteries of the Oscillometric device is running low
@mentaldental Жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with using auscultatory! From personal experience, I definitely think it can be more accurate.

Hello Dr. Ryan. Can you explain to me the difference between the slides and study guides please ! 🙏🏻 I’m trying to decide on which membership to get
@mentaldental3 жыл бұрын
Sure thing! The slides are PDF versions of the presentations you see in the video shot for shot. So you can take notes on them as you’re watching the videos. The study guides are Word documents that have information and images organized in a different way that some people prefer to study from.

Thank you Dr.Ryan. First off, You are just awesome. The love the content on this channel. I have a question, for a patient in hypertensive urgency, we should give plain anesthesia. Which stage is the transition made from 0.04mg epinephrine to no epinephrine at all. I would appreciate your reply.

Whst id they forget bp medicine we monitor bp snd cont with tx any specific protocol
@mentaldental3 жыл бұрын
You would follow the same guidelines presented in the video based on what their blood pressure recording is! Likely it will be higher than it should if they forgot their medication, and then you make adjustments to your treatment protocol accordingly.
