Welcome to our new series on Head & Neck Anatomy! We will be starting with a discussion of embryogenesis (mostly egg stage and embryo stage) and what the pharyngeal arches contribute to as far as head & neck structures. We even go over a case example of a syndrome that incorporates all of the information together. This material will be targeting FK-1 of the INBDE. Thanks for watching!

The AFK exam is very similar in the content that it covers compared to the INBDE. Here is the link to the AFK protocol: ndeb-bned.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/2021-AFK-Protocol_Revised-April-2021.pdf. If you take a look at Page 5, you will see the blueprint of topics lines up well with the video series I have! I recommend focusing on the high yield information rather than every tiny detail, and focusing more on the clinical aspects of dentistry.

Not too many! It is difficult to know an exact amount because it varies from test to test, but I would estimate about 5-10.
