Thanks so much, I must have encountered Gorlin's cyst earlier during an odontectomy of #48. I basically ignored the radiographic image because panoramic radiographs have superimpositions. I sent the solid tumor for the biopsy and will wait for results after 2 weeks. Meantime, I would order a localized radiograph of the right ramus.

Awesome Job Dr. Rayan, For double checking, is ameloblastoma also have the honeycomb appearance cause that's how I studied it in my school...that honeycomb appearance on a radiograph is an Ameloblastoma characteristic?
@mentaldental7 ай бұрын
Absolutely! Ameloblastomas typically have a "honeycomb" or "soap bubble" appearance on radiographs.

Gardner Syndrome has Osteoma instead of Odontoma'üs and they are not odontogenic tumors all other resources say. I am so confused :(( So shouldn't it be multiple osteomas and intestinal polyps. Thanks for the video tho!

Thank u very much for your nice presentation, it’s really helpful but garden syndrome include multiple osteomas of the skull not odontoma with intestinal polyposis
@mentaldental6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! You are correct in that Gardner Syndrome does present with multiple osteomas and GI polyps. However, the collection of signs and symptoms can also include multiple odontomas and this is important to know particularly for the NBDE due to its oral manifestation.
