Oral Roberts shocked the world and took down Ohio State in OT. Kevin Obanor and Max Abmas scored 30 and 29 points for the Golden Eagles, respectively. Oral Roberts became just the 9th 15 seed ever to upset a 2 seed in NCAA tournament history, and the first since Middle Tennessee knocked off Michigan State in 2016. @@otaviofrn_adv ya my grandpa, dad, and I used to do our brackets every year since I was like 6 years old. I'm 30 now. I also played basketball my whole life, traveling AAU and high-school. My grandpa never missed a single game of mine. He literally probably missed 2 in my entire life, same with my dad except for when he had work. Im from Chicago so we would travel down to U of I once a year (my dad's alma mater) to catch a game. My dad's best friend, his son is Trent Meacham who played for U of I. Wed stay at their house and catch a game even before Trent was in college. Then every March we'd do our brackets and they'd take me out of school so we could go to the nearest regional 1st and 2nd round games whether is was in Chicago, Milwaukie, or wherever. We'd also always go to the big 10 tournament every time it was in Chicago (most years it was). Id always pick Gonzaga (because i liked the name lol) and Illinois (cuz im a homer) to make it all the way every year. That never happened. This year is the first time in my life its actually like reasonably possible lol. My grandpa died in November of 2020 of a major heart attack. He was 80. He played division 3 college basketball in Indiana and used to sneak into Purdue games to catch them play when he was a kid. Him and my dad made college hoops and March madness some of the best memories of my life. Its sad he didn't get one more tourney in last year cuz it got cancelled.. he was really excited for this year... thank you all for showing love on my comment! Love to anyone who has lost a loved one. Traditions keep their memory alive!

Even on years like 2019, without many big upsets during the tourney, we still had a final four with three teams looking for their first national championship. It seems like the tournament always rewards the fans with all around greatness. I'm from another country, and I really am neither the biggest follower of the regular season or the games overall, nor a bracket filler. But I love March Madness, I love to watch without much compromise. The teams, despite the rankings, are pretty evenly matched and we can see more good players, especially of the smaller schools that don't get much of the media in the regular season

Thats so cool people from other countries appreciate it too. Its also crazy how much harder these kids play than actual professionals.
