I've been on the injectable for a week and a half now for a bicep tendon thats been killing me. The first week I was thinking I probably wasted my money. This stuff probably won't help anything. Plus it's to expensive. The second week the pain was completely gone. I'm a welder/fabricator. So I figured it'd be hurting by the end of the day because I constantly have to pick up over 100lbs. Of course I'm not trying to make it hurt. So I'm being careful with it. But it hasn't hurt again yet. I'm gonna still take it easy for a while. It hurt so bad before I thought I'd end up losing my job. I don't know how long I should wait to try working out with it. But then I also noticed that i hadn't had any issues with my stomach ulcer in the time I'd been doing bpc 157. It's been great for me in a real short time. For most things yes it's a big difference. For BPC-157 there is still a reduction, but the absorption is still super high because BPC157 is stable in the stomach. Because of that, and being equally effective, we recommend oral for most people as it's easier and more cost effective.

Hi, apologise in advance the long comment, I just need help and advice. I’m a 18 year old power lifter, and I’ve struggled with an ache/painful shoulder for 8 months. It got slightly better 4 months ago, and I built up strength slowly, but then it went again. It’s not a sudden pain or impingement, it’s a really dull ache and instability mixed with acute pain. After months of calling the docters, we got an MRI which concluded rotator cuff tendinitis. but they are investigating the diagnosis more due to the length of the injury.I swim,get massages,eat really well,supplement and do physio exercises. Admittedly, I get rather impatient and can’t go more than 2 weeks without trying to incorporate some type of upper body stimulation. Wether that be light bicep curls, lateral raises or press ups. I’m going to start pinning BCP-157 SubQ at a 300 mcg dosage daily. I will be doing this into the shoulder, but in a subQ manner. I will then incorporate tb500 at around week 3. I will then inject both for another 1-2 months. Please don’t comment “you’re young and will be fine or let it rest”. You have to understand my life is the gym, my family and friends are all there. Regardless of the age I need help. Any tips or Anecdotal feedback will be much appreciated.

Hey man, sorry to hear you've been going through all of this. I can't give you direct medical advice as that can only happen in an appointment with me, and this is on KZbin, but I can give you some general guidance. If you have instability, you should look at working with someone who is trained in prolotherapy/PRP injections, and make sure they use image guidance for their injections. Obviously you can come work with me in Arizona, but there are other docs out there that can help you. If you feel unstable, the shoulder joint is likely unstable and you should see if you're a candidate for regenerative injections such as PRP or stem cell therapy, or if you're a surgical candidate. Ligament laxity, which is usually the cause of the instability, is not well seen on an MRI most of the time, so you need a good thorough physical exam in order to know if the shoulder is truly unstable. If the shoulder is unstable, injections combined with physical therapy and peptides are often the best approach. Usually the peptides alone won't fully work for ligament laxity, and direct injections are crucial. Hope this helps point you in the right direction.

Hey Dr. Just ruptured my Achilles. Was thinking of starting with dna healths oral bpc. Then potentially moving to subQ near the site when I can. Based on what you're saying I might just stick with orals. Would you suggest 500 mg 2x a day or 250mg twice a day? Any other suggestions for this type injury would be great. Don't need to do subQ near the site, it does nothing extra. Stick with oral IMO. Make sure you've got lots of collagen on board (40g per day), vitamin c (2-10g per day based on what your gut can tolerate), and then we like use pro resolving mediators as well (SPM active). I started the BPC-157 500mcg oral capsules from DNA Health a few days ago in an attempt to improve chronic GI symptoms. Since day 1 of taking them, I've had a really significant increase in watery diarrhea. From searching online, it seems like others have had similar experiences (though it doesn't appear very common). Is this something you've seen at all? And if so, is it something that goes away once the body acclimates? I'm on day 3, and I'm still having the same symptoms. The consensus online seems to be that diarrhea from BPC-157 is due to a contaminated batch or the inclusion of mannitol (but I don't think either of those are likely from DNA Health?). I'm just wondering what an appropriate amount of time to wait to see if my body adjusts would be.

We have only seen it twice in our practice. We've suspected that it's changing gut flora in such a fashion that it's causing bowel movement changes. If we pause and then support the gut more we can resume BPC-157 without issue (this happened with both cases)

I'm terribly sorry to hear that. We would probably start at 250mcg per day to see how you respond and then move you up to 500mcg twice per day if you're doing well

Site specific subq injections are bro science. I've made a video on this recently explaining how subcutaneous site specific injections don't reach the area you are injecting over anymore than subq in the abdomen.

The cortisone injections are done INTO the area of damage (inside the knee joint, into the tendon sheath, etc), not subcutaneously over the area of pain. Those are different.
