How come the executive members all get their own rooms and hundreds of dollars per day in per diem. Almost every member of the executive staff travel with the team even when they are not needed. The JFF lies to the media on who travels to tournaments. FIFA pays for all expenses for all tournaments, yet only Jamaica has a problem with funding direct flights ECT. The JFF has to reduce players per diem and accommodations so the money can go to the executives. Why FIFA has an auditor that resides in the JFF to ensure funds are not being misused? Why FIFA wrote a letter saying that both the TD and the president cannot attend overseas matches together. The JFF is pilfering funds for their personal use. Paying the ladies $50 per diem when executives are getting 400 to 500 per day. The JFF is looking out for themselves and not for football in Jamaica.

The most disappointing thing about the interview is that he was perfectly aware that he should not be unrealistic and disrespectful while talking about Aston Villa, the transfer market or comparisons to any team. But he was very unprofessional when talking about the Jamaican professional setup. And it is a professional setup. Albeit at a level below the standard of different federations. 10/10 excellent review - if the english born players are getting on with training using the facilities without resorting to interviews, then he should too. He seemed very upset at times during the interview, so you can tell the decision still affects him. The JFF clearly need to do more for the development of football, the way they operate seems very outdated. I dont think he helped himself criticising the federation the way he did.

Sir Maverick I agree with your take on the interview, but I do believe though the JFF should strive to do better, we get it that we are not a rich federation. However, professionalism and communication seem to be among the issues that frequently come up in the disputes that have arisen. Proper communication on the flight arrangements for a player does not cost extra. Even if there is an issue and the details are going to be late communicating, that again comes at no extra cost.

Oral Tracey, there are pros and cons in basically every situation. Your main argument is that Leon should not be complaining and making excuses and I get that, but where is the argument that JFF is not fair based on what he and others has voiced in the past. Him talk bout professionalism, but he wasn't being professional by breaking camp either. and yes, I think the pressure gets to him at times. It’s a disgrace the way how the JFF and government treat Jamaica’s football. From 98 our playing surfaces and other facilities have been underdeveloped, no real growth. All they do is pillage while allowing our football to continue to suffer. Why can’t we have up to par playing fields. Where does the money go?

Where is all the money that the JFF make over the years. We went to World Cup 1998 and has fail to put professional people and systems in place so that our Football program can provide the best services for our players. Too many excuses in Jamaica when it comes to our systems not just Football but everything in Jamaica is designed so that a group of people can #Hustle millions on the side while the program suffers. No player is bigger than there Country and Leon Bailey deserve is suspension however our way of doing things has to improve. Low Bailey It’s true what he’s saying, don’t overlook the main issues, which is CONCAF/ Jamaica Football Federation NOT distributing the financial resources properly for years upon years , Look at the woman’s Jamaica National Team having to go fund raising to get to go a tournament, KMT the curfew is frustration from 1 player is a series of events that finally got to Bailey. Who holds the Jamaican Football Federation accountable every time they break the rules and don’t pay the players and give the teams resources to maximise their skills and potential to be successful????
