That's the wrong response. The CORRECT response is that Hilary campaigned specifically with the electoral college in mind. Whining that the system she agreed to participate in and based her entire political strategy around failed her is profoundly stupid on the complainer's part. Further more, the Democrat's OWN primaries are MORE, not less, restrictive compared to the electoral college. Ask how many people voted for Kamala before she was elevated to presidential candidate? Ask how Bernie/Hilary debates were set up by the party establishment? Ask how DNC campaign funds are allocated to candidates. SUPER electoral college voters whose votes count more than the others simply do not exist.

@ Most people have no civic literacy and even less historical knowledge of the US. I guy tried to tell me the electoral college was purely for logistics. Strange then that each state gets an elector for each Representative and Senator. . It reminds me of all the people who get upset about Supreme Court Rulings. People judge the rulings entirely by consequence. Never has anyone I met upset about a ruling read the opinions. Yet they are surprised when I tell them SCOTUS’ job is to uphold the law not to pass laws, and that they may disagree with the consequences but still rule based on what is constitutional and consistent. I think people should have to pass civic literacy tests to vote.
