Oran Pre-Cast Twin Wall Installation

This video clearly demonstrates the correct methodology for installing precast twin walls (also known as double walls). It covers the entire process from delivery of walls to site, safe unloading, erecting walls into final position, fitting site steel at wall joints and finally concrete infilling.

Good video. Looks simple and clean to install. What about the shim pads? Are they cast in to the walls? Do you remove or dig them out later?

What keeps them sturdy on the ground? Is it the concrete that fills them in?

@@kwasebon our job they are welded to the concrete footers, and the walls are welded together using slugs and vector embeds. All the walls are braced to augers that's are drilled into the ground, and once they are welded 100 percent, the braces and augers get taken down.
