Thanks very much for showing us how it's done, including links to steps, how the fish is progressing over the days and weeks. Thanks also for the videos on the completely wen covered calico Oranda and your observation notes. Seeing all your wen surgery videos and absorbing all your info gave me confidence to perform surgery AGAIN on my 2 year old Lionhead Oranda; he looks similar to your Orange Oranda. I didnt have a tweezer so I only managed to trim the ones above his eyes. The poor bugga flinched and so I didnt go on to trim the cheeks. He took 10 drops of clove oil (1) 6 drops in 10ml, (2) 3 drops in 10 ml (3) 2 drops in 10 ml over half an hour before he went to "light sleep". He recovered within 5 mins in 10L highly aerated tank water. THANK YOU again.

Antonius Martinius lol its the fishes Wen you don't want to remove it completely and probably shouldn't cut it all off. It's what the fish is known for growing and the bigger the better it just sometimes grows to much and can block the view
