My OR50 had that ethereal growl too it. Sadly I sold it before the Bax was released. The irony was I wanted a dirt box that added to the OR50 sound. Yikes

The first demo of the Bax I've seen that spends a good amount of time on edge of breakup, lower gain settings---which is a good thing. Plenty of other demos using high gain wankery. I think that may have been what the previous guy (posted 2 years ago) meant when he thanked you for "not showing what it can really do". Basically you didn't simply max it out and blast away llike so many other demos. I just picked one of these up (finally), and it's nice to see someone else who appreciates what it has to offer with the gain only around 10 o'clock.
