I have an orange cat and this video is a good depiction of how they truly are. My little (big actually) boy follows me around like a dog, is very territorial, thinks he owns not only my property, but my neighbors, hangs out with my goats in their barn, wakes me up early every morning by walking across my body (he's 20 lbs.), tries to drink my water and knock over my tablet. That's just a few things he does! 😻

All domestic cats, ie, Felis domestica, or our, 'cat of the hearth' are the same species, and it matters not their fur or fur color patterns. For example, I've had orange tabbies, calicos, as well as Siamese cats, 'follow me aroung like a dog', even outside while I was walking my actual dog.

You are actually wrong, as cats are cats, regardless of their external colorings, same as humans. The main difference between the Danish and all Western and Central Europeans from Africans, is cultural and lingual, not inherent. Can you and I reproduce with Africans and Asians and Eskimos? Yes, we can, and the issue from our union can also reproduce, therefore all humans alive today are the SAME species. Do you get that?

It doesn't matter if he's an orange tabby, a calico, grey tabby, or a Siamese. They're all cats, all the same species with similar behaviors. (Although Siamese are known to be exceptionally inquisitive, as well as more talkative.)

I have a white and orange boy, 12 years old he is. He's not dumb at all, infact his like a person, we eat spaghetti together, minus the sauce. he will then go and remove the top of his milk dish, that I use to cover it. He will want cheese in the morning, harm, etc He will only meow to eat the same foods as what I eat. He knows when it's bath time, he'll sit there in the bath with nice warm to hot water, and not nake a mess, when I shampoo him. Then towl dry, he'll then sleep nearly all day.

My last cat was a ginger and he had no fear of anything except thunder. He would attack other cats, dogs, people and trucks. He lived for just over 18 years and my local vet got to know him well . He was always happy to see her and only bit her once when she went to take his temperature. He attacked me daily but also insisted on sleeping on my lap for at least one hour per day. I do miss him even though he was a complete ahole most of the time.

I miss all my deceased cats, even one's who died decades ago. I suppose I always will. I miss my dogs, too. But it's somehow different when a cat dies. To me anyway. And I've never known why, because I love both dogs and cats. I think it's because, while dogs are obviously intelligent, one can commune with one's cat on a deeper, primordial level.

I have a 14 year old orange baby. He has never been quirky or funny in this way. Always very laid back and very chill. His name is Chester and he is smart as a whip. He sits on command, he shakes, he gives kisses when asked to. He also gives those kisses when he wants a treat so sometimes I get them in the middle of the night and it is a sweet/aggravating wake up. My nickname for him is Boochie. Only an orange, really smart, cat can have the title of a Boochie. Just like Bob the Street Cat. He is also a Boochie. I love orange cats. Hands down. Smartest cats ever.

The kitty @0:47...SWEET TAKEDOWN!! As the Daddy to an adopted Ginger boy, I have to say that every one of these clips depicts orange tabbies very well. Our Creamsicle is a hoot! And like callycharles2515, our kitty also follows us with very dog-like behavior, is quite territorial, and also quite possessive as well. You should see his reaction when I clean out the potty box and replace the litter. Or when I take his blanket off the love seat and take it outside to shake it out. Ot clean up the towel under his food bowls. And although he's only 16 lbs, he likes to climb on Daddy's chest at 3 IN THE MORNING and give me all kind of rub, kisses, pets and even nose bumps - he gets hungry early. He loves to play "pounce Daddy" when he's on top of our 7ft tall antique secretary's desk. He's a HUGE fan of a laser pointer (the "red dot game"), his flopping fishy, and a large plastic feather. And then there's his rubber chicken. Yes, he plays with a squeaky rubber chicken. Trying to give him a bath? It's difficult, as I don't keep my suit of armor handy. Just wetting his paws causes a major freak-out. Brushing him is also quite the adventure. Let's just nicely say he's not at all cooperative. All that being said...we've had him almost three years(It will be three years in October). He was seven months old when he chose us at the shelter and we adopted him. We love Creamsicle like crazy, even though he can be a REAL HANDFUL.

My orange cat, a huge fluffy guy, Snorky Bob, was a kind gentle big boy who was best friends with a much smaller Tortie, Sophie. Snorks was weird, but in a very nice way. He was my ”lap fungus” because if I sat down, he was there too. Then Sophie would pile on and there was no need of a blanket. Sophie died in November, 2018, from cancer, then her best buddy, Snorky, followed her across the Rainbow Bridge a month later. She was 8, and orange boy was 16. They’re in matching urns on my coffee table. Still best buddies and I miss them SO much! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦

The video from 1:04 in that setting is from disgusting people who torture animals. This poor kitty was tortured, they are being subjected into terrible pain. I did read that it was saved but these monsters ended up catching more kitties and tortuting them. Please, if you know about them then report them to animal rescues. I remember seeing that this is in China where they don't have many protection laws for animals but still i think animal rescue organizationa will help. I am sure the creator of this video didnt know about this but sharing the origins of the video could help so we can all report them to animal rescues in china and maybe other bigger channels that help animals. Edit: After reading a comment from a person, thank you for letting me know btw, the organization responsible for feeding these kitties are not at fault, probably the ones taking videos of them are those who are torturing these poor animals..

I have heard however of truely disgustingly evil people actively seeking out these cats to torture them. TLDR: It‘s not the organisation that set up those cameras, but rather depraved individuals who seek out these cats, torturing them.

Get it through your heads, people. Orange tabbies are NOT a separate species of [edit] Felis domestica. They're alll cats, no matter their external fur patterns or colors. In fact, the genome of domestic cats is quite narrow when compared to canines. For example, have you ever seen two different cat breeds that were as radically different from each other as are a Toy Poodle compared to a Great Dane? Yet, the poodle and dane are the SAME species! A chihuahua and a saint bernard are the same species. Orange, grey, calicos, bobtails, and Siamese cats are the SAME species!

Siamese cats, in my experience, are noticeably more inquisitive than other breeds, including tabbies, orange or otherwise. But they are still both the same species, as they can mate, and produce offspring, AND, their offspring can also mate with other cats and produce offspring. Therefore, same species.
