Orange winged Parrots

The United States has had over 70-species of parrots/parakeets seen in the wild. Out of that number, we have quite a few species that have an established population. South Florida with its subtropical climate holds many of the species that have been reported. California and Texas also have quite a large number of parrots/parakeets. There are several species that are considered established in Florida, California and Arizona. Orange-winged Parrots do nest in South Florida in small numbers.
