I loved your chuckle when you figured out wordle. Too bad this wasn't 5 days ago. Turned out it was the weekday abbreviations Glad I played through in my mind first. Very tricky, but very fun.

I work at NASA so the Strands was super easy. I solved it about as fast as you did. I also picked SUN TUE WED and SAT as my first guess but I had a feeling it wasn't right. It wasn't. But you're allowed to make 3 mistakes in this puzzle. I think the homophones (I was told homonym in elementary school) is tacky because TUE isn't a word or at least not a word in common use - so I left that one to the end, thinking it couldn't possible be right either. I was trying lo link TUE TO SUN and MAY to "____ DAY" but it's Tuesday not Tueday so I didn't think it would be right (it wasn't, so I was wise to avoid it).

I remember there was another Connections that had four obvious brands of cameras and that was a red herring too. I can't remember the day, it was before I began playing the puzzle regularly. I'm sure I would have fell for it if I did play.

Well done, Oranje! Wordle 1,106 4/6* ⬜🟨🟨⬜🟨TRACE ⬜🟨⬜🟨🟨MAKER ⬜🟩🟨🟨⬜FERAL 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩ZEBRA 🦓🦓🦓🦓🦓 Glad it was NOT an _A_ER word. One of only three Z words in the answer list. The only one left ... ZONAL. Strands #118 “It's way over your head” 🟡🔵🔵🔵 🔵🔵🔵 Saw what was going on with GALAXY, saw SPACE, but slow to find the Spangram, because it was a really weird shape. I first thought something would come after SPACE, not before. Connections Puzzle #384 🟩🟩🟩🟩PUT TOGETHER 🟦🟦🟦🟦SET DOWN 🟨🟨🟨🟨HOMOPHONES 🟪🟪🟪🟪??? I was suspicious of both the homophones and the days of the week, so proceeded carefully and avoided the trap. I gave up on naming Purple, though. I was not in the mood to take a long time to wrack my brain over it. Great job getting it so quickly!

@@DailyWordPuzzlesWithOranje28 Yes, I thought it was kind of a cheat, since "TUE" is not a real word and seems like a deliberate misdirection. So it's perfectly reasonable to think that it belongs with days of the week. And the repetition of PLACED in the blue category title is definitely not kosher! Seems like an error they overlooked.
