STARE ROACH BRAND BRAWN Strands was a quick one for me. I had one mistake (a red herring) for Connections. I also got the purple first.

Wordle: TIGER , BROIL, BRAIN : lucky 2nd guess made this one straightforward Strands : Also found excitement and pleasure first and it was easy enough to find the spanagram first but I don't consider that to be any bonus points. Quick solve. Connections, I did get a perfect solve, got them in this order. I did see various vacation venues but they went away as I found categories with a clean fit. Yellow was pretty hard to be honest. Yellow : Made up of more than one thing Purple : _____ CONTROL Green : To firmly put into place Light blue : Things in a Monopoly game. With that staring at me, it finally clicked.

Good job in Connections, Tigerboy. Keep in mind that the goal of being successful in Connections according to Wyna is just lighting up all four categories. This is what I did and I was fine in my other two games today as well. 😎

@@hopechazzyes, but I also like to learn something new. Today's puzzle didn't have anything I didn't already know. I used to play Monopoly a lot so I got the connection but it did end up being my default solve. I knew you don't *have* to call out the category before revealing, but it adds a fun dimension to the game. I always think a lot of leeway should be granted in describing it. When Doug debates on giving himself the point, i usually say he's close enough.

Again, I like learning new information and I understand/hear what you are saying. Like you I have played Monopoly, but could not name this category. There was a previous category on Monopoly and I missed that one as well, Tigerboy! Oh well. 😂

I did very well with Strands and was OK in Wordle/ Connections. My cat, SIMON, was happy to be recognized. 😊

Great job on my puzzle! 😁I was surprised you went straight for the pets! 🐈😺 SIMON is one of Charles' cats. ISABEL is Dora's cat. I knew Dora had mentioned the name of her cat, but I couldn't recall it, so I just asked Dora, so Dora and anyone who happened to be watching that day had a bonus clue. 🙂 YOU could have been in at least three of the categories. I say "at least" because it's possible someone has named their pet after you by now. Although if so, I haven't heard about it, and I'm quite observant. ORANJE would be a good name for an orange tabby, or maybe a "toasted" Shiba Inu. 🙂

@@LadyAndreaRose Me too! 🧡We have had two orange cats. Their names were Perseus and Remus. They are no longer with us. We won't have a cat while Vesta is with us. I don't think she would actually hurt the cat, but she would certainly chase it and probably make its life miserable.
